Post Number 1

John 1:1-18

If it is alive it somehow of God. All life originally stems from Gd as the original arbiter and causer.

The introduction to the book of John is a pretty stinkin' killer introduction. When it comes to narrative formats, it brings to light the narrator of the story, and his purpose and time and significant deeds on Earth. It says he was "sent from God" (v.6) and that by witnessing the significant events of Jesus Christ, he is here to write his book about it. He is a chronicler. He put stuff down.

The first thing he puts down was how Jesus and God have been in each others company, and the same entity (The Trinity, with the Holy Spirit) "In the beginning."

But he starts out with a man who looks totally crazy and probably scares people an lives in the middle of nowhere and the press goes in to see who he is, if he's the messiah, the prophet, who, and he says "I am none of these people, I am the one who was put here to get y'all ready. I give people the opportunity to take part in a picture of what is going to happen, which is their getting of new life."
